Until 1 July 2025 this area was part of District 1, and most people, including taxi drivers, still describe it that way. Tân Định market, the one by the pink church, is a few minutes’ walk away. We are on the third floor and there is a lift. Ask at the first desk you see, usually Mai’s. ## Parking - **Motorbike:** park on the ground floor of the building; the guard gives you a ticket. Parking is free for visitors to our office, so bring the ticket up for a stamp. - **Car:** stopping on this stretch of road is difficult. A ride-hailing car or taxi that drops you at the door is easier. If you are only dropping off documents, there is no need to come up. Call ahead and we will meet you in the lobby. ## Which tax office covers this area Under Decision 1378/QĐ-CT, which set up the local tax offices of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, Tân Định ward falls under **Thuế cơ sở 1 TP. Hồ Chí Minh** (Local Tax Office No. 1), at 8 Nguyễn Văn Thủ, Tân Định ward. The same office covers Sài Gòn, Bến Thành and Cầu Ông Lãnh wards.
